About Diagnostic medicine
So what exactly is diagnostic medicine? Patients go to their doctor for diagnostic care when they are already experiencing health concern symptoms and want to get diagnosed in order to start treating the symptoms with a solution that will work for them.
Put simply, diagnostic medicine follows 3 simple steps for you, the patient:
Review your symptoms and health concerns with your provider
You’ll either obtain a diagnosis for your symptoms from your provider, or undergo some tests to get back results and answers with your provider
Receive a treatment plan from your provider and attend check-in appointments with them to manage your progress
Dr. Timothy Aldridge and Londa will help you through the process from “problem to solution” when you come in to address your health concerns.
When scheduling with Aldridge Diagnostic Medicine, the office will call you prior to your appointment to verify your insurance through the office and make sure you are covered.
Your first appointment with Londa will be a gathering of information, including your:
Past medical and surgical history
List of current (if any) diagnosis and medicines
And issues and concerns you have
Londa will work through your concerns with you, addressing them 1-2 at a time. In doing so, your first visit will provide the focused attention you deserve on your prioritized concerns.
Then Londa will recommend lab tests, imaging, or health maintenance gaps that may need to be addressed.
If any imaging or lab results come in, you will be called back to discuss what the results are and move forward with a plan that works for you.
Follow-up appointments are also recommended if you start any new medication or begin following a recommended lifestyle change in order for Londa to see where you are at with your health status. These appointments are dedicated to determining if more accommodations, changes, or additions are necessary to make your treatment as successful as possible.
